Reddy have been some of the speakers at the Parisar Annual Lecture series. Parisar has re-started the lecture series from 2010 with a lecture by Mr. P. Sainath. The Parisar Annual Lecture for 2011 was delivered by Prashant Bhushan, a Supreme Court advocate by profession and an activist by heart, on the issue of adopting an 'An Alternative Development Paradigm', at Devang Mehta Auditorium in Pune.

He is well known for taking up many public interest causes and PILs, most often "pro bono". He has been an assiduous defender of civil liberties, human rights, environmental protection and the rights of the poor. He has also been a vocal proponent of judicial accountability and has been an active pursuer of corruption related cases. Recently, he has also become a core member of the team led by Shri Anna Hazare that is campaigning for an effective institution to rein in the rampant corruption in the country.

sainath webPalagummi Sainath, well known journalist and the Rural Affairs editor of The Hindu, delivered the Parisar Annual Lecture on "The Wages of Inequality - farm crisis, food crisis and policy" to a packed audience at the S.M. Joshi hall in Pune on 21st October 2010. Mr. Sainath is a well known for his commitment to journalism that highlights the issues of the poorest people, and his work has brought him many awards such as the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award, 2009 and the Ramon Magsaysay Prize 2007.
