A city-based NGO, Parisar, has come up with their own set of urban designs to revamp four major neighbourhoods in the city. The designs have been approved by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) aswell as the city traffic department. Parisar has chosen the neighbourhoods of Kothrud, Karve Nagar, Senapati Bapat Road, and Viman Nagar as these roads see the most number of pedestrians as per the organisation’s study.
