Project Associate
Before this work, I was deeply interested in understanding how cities grow and how development impacts both communities and ecological systems. My early experiences in research and governance exposed me to the complexities of urbanisation, environmental degradation, and policy implementation across Maharashtra.
Then one day, while working on projects related to biodiversity conservation and urban emissions research, I realised how strongly policy and citizen participation can shape healthier and more sustainable cities. Because of that, I began exploring issues at the intersection of environment, governance, and public engagement.
Now at Parisar, I work on air quality awareness and advocacy initiatives. My work includes leading public outreach activities, conducting environmental research, coordinating with diverse stakeholders and strengthening communication through reports and social media. I am committed to advancing environmental action by uniting policy, science, and community engagement to shape the future of our cities.
When not working, I’m usually sketching & tending to my ever-growing plant collection.
